The flagship of the Peralta Community College District, Laney College stretches across sixty acres in the lively center of resurgent downtown Oakland.  Laney College stands alongside the Oakland Museum of California and the Henry J. Kaiser Converntion Center, just a few blocks from Lake Merritt. Bay Area Rapid Transit and AC Transit provide convenient transportation to the school and its surrounding public facilities.

PARKING VANS

Drop Team Off On Campus:  Heading south on 7th Street, go past the College (since there is an island and you cannot turn left), make a U-Turn at 5th Avenue and come back to the College.  Turn right into the parking area at the next light (parking is for handicap), however, you may pull in to drop athletes off.

To Park Van:  Van’s may park in Faculty parking lot (across from the College on E. 7th Street) Isles A – D.

Parking Permits:  You must display a Laney College Guest Parking Permit, which should be included in your coaching package.  Note:  You will get ticketed if you don’t display a parking permit.

Off-Street Parking:  Softball/Baseball teams may want to park near athletic fields if there is space.
